This is my favorite place in Austin. Beautiful ambiance and great French brasserie food! I highly recommend it, and it's a little off the beaten path, which is nice.

Really great mostly vegetarian food. I am addicted to their potato leek omelet and their gluten free bread. Their coffee is really good too.

6th Street is worth seeing but it can be SUPER crazy overrun with drunk college kids. So instead consider the Rainy Street area where there are little bars in old houses to hang out at!

I love this bar, it is close by and has everything you need - good drinks, a patio, a pool table, and surly 'tenders :)
