If nothing else, ya gotta see the number of people that cycle this thing every day. Completed in 1910, it is a 'vertical lift' bridge, and a good place to watch for dragon boat races.

An amazing DOG FRIENDLY park that works its way to both the Sandy and the Columbia River. Great for blackberry picking in the summer (uh, just pick the high ones...) Rover will be worn out!

Aside from the hiking and views for you outdoorsy types, there is an amazing off-leash dog park on the south side (best entrance at Division and 68th, near the college) Not completely fenced.
