The absolute best place for kids (and kids at heart) in Vancouver! Especially an excellent rainy day option, should it ever happen (though rarely does in the summer in Vancouver).

A great place to hang out around sunset. Grab a bite to take out on Denman or Davie streets and have a picnic on the beach. Plenty of entertaining buskers always on hand here.

Denman St has so many nice little restaurants to explore. Italian, Japanese, Greek. You name it, they've likely got it. An easy place to rent a bike for that stroll around Stanley Park as well.

It's is a national historic site complete with cobblestone streets. A mix of "hip" contemporary fashion and interior furnishing boutiques, gift shops, restaurants, nightclubs, art galleries and more.
