Rio Grill is a Brazilian restaurant located inside Asia Hotel, next to Ratchathewi station, which is a bit of an old land mark in Bangkok. The restaurant is usually pretty quiet but the food is good and the prices are reasonable.

This is a an amazing little dessert shop, hidden around the corner of Phetchaburi road. It's a bit tricky to find but once you're there you it really cozy and the coffee and sweets are great.

Located in the Siam area, two BTS stations from the condo, the Jim Thompson House is convenient place to get a feel of Bangkok's history. Bangkok is not known for its museums but this place is definitely worth a visit.

Parks & Nature
You would have to hop on the BTS, change train at Siam and proceed to Ratchadamri / Sala Daeng or take a taxi for 10-15 minutes but you should not leave Bangkok before paying a visit to Lumpini Park. It's right in the middle of the city with an amazing skyline any direction you look. The park is huge and you'll see people getting around waling, running, by bicycle, roller blades and paddle boat. You can also catch some sun rays on a park bench or enjoy a drink on the grass.
