They have a dog-friendly patio. They have live music on occasion - please check in with them prior to expecting it. Great local brewery - there is a growler above the stove in the cupboard that can be used during your visit. My fave is the Pelican Pale.

The highest end restaurant in the Neighborhood. I've had some amazing meals there and it's super peaceful! Sort of a hidden gem.

Best sushi restaurant in town. They get packed up very easily so get there early or late but not during rush hours as you will find yourself waiting in long lines!

One of the most iconic restaurants in Santa Cruz County - they have been in business since 1947. They have an amazing garden you see as you walk down to the restaurant via the stairs or you can use the TRAM. This place is amazing!

This place is always busy. It is in walking distance - sort of pricey though.

This is by far my favorite breakfast location. Priced right and large portions. I always get the seafood omelette and they always prepare my hash browns to order. They also have a dog-friendly patio. This is in walking distance but across the harbor.

This is my favorite coffee. I don't drink coffee often but when I do, it's VERVE. They also have some amazing pastries. It's a short walk from here. Not much in the way of inside seating but they do have a few tables outside.

Most delicious corned beef and cabbage. Also have yummy shepherds pie and bangers & mash. Oh and their fish and chips aren't too shabby either...

One of the highest rated Italian places in town - I literally refused to go there my first couple years here because they always had ridiculous lines and I hate waiting in lines. Now they have expanded almost four times the size and are still always busy. I recommend reservations. Their risotto balls are so good. So is there Gnocchi. And their Lasagna. I could go on and on... Beer and wine only...

It's absolutely beautiful - you can witness the Monarch migration October through early February.

So this is probably my favorite beach in Santa Cruz County. The views will not disappoint. It is directly off highway one about 15 minutes north of Santa Cruz.

Great hiking trail - flat land with an amazing ocean view. No beach access unless you want to risk your life. There is also a great hiking/biking trail opposite side of highway one.
