It is short pretty walk up Scenic from our house. It has two play structures for kids, and a concrete slide for older ones--or kids at heart. Use the cardboard to save your pants. There is a waterfall hike from here too that is fun and it right across from the Rose garden.

This a beautiful place to watch the sunset. It is also a sweet walk from the house at any time of day. If you happen to be into tennis, there are some free good courts here too that are often open.

A super awesome place to bring kids for a rare playground in the US: a playground with tools and paint. Bring clothes you can get messy in. Also this place is right in the Marina with beautiful views of the Bay.

A short drive, but completely worth it if you enjoy a little spice. Cholle Bhature is the puffy bread that you'll want to order. They also have a great grocery attached to the restaurant if you any of your culinary needs.

I love this Ethiopian restaurant. My favorite is the Doro ribs (chicken), but you can't go wrong here with any of the options.
