There are too many good restaurants close to me! Chambar is around the corner from the apartment and has awesome Belgian beer. I love the Congolaise mussels (it's a pretty big portion so you will be full after this)

This is a Caribbean restaurant. I really enjoy their brunch which comes with roti and a jamaican curry....tasty!!

My favourite bar! Their cocktails are really good, and the ambience here is very "Vancouver". Plus it's a 5 min walk from the apartment, so you can be back whenever you like without having to worry about transit!

If you get a chance to visit the Gulf Islands and Vancouver Island, please do (especially in the summer) for some beautiful hikes like Botanical Beach at Juan de Fuca Marine Trail, and Sooke Potholes near Victoria, BC.

All along West 4th Avenue you will find little boutiques as well as the mainstream shops located in malls with less crowds and hassle. Plus, you can take a break and walk down to Kitsilano Beach when you get tired of shopping!
