Balboa Park is a 1,200-acre urban cultural park, 16 museums, lovely gardens, trails, many events (specially around summer time). Kids love this place! too!

Beautiful hikes, can start from the top, hike down to the beach, swim and hike back. As an alternative, you can park by the beach and hike up or just enjoy Torrey Pines beach!
