Nakano Broadway (中野ブロードウェイ) is a shopping complex very close to the apartment. It is famous for the variety of shops you can find, including those that sell anime items and idol goods. As a matter of fact, the 2nd and 3rd floors out of 4 of Nagano Broadway, are almost entirely dedicated to anime. There also are more than a dozen Mandarake stores, which specialize in selling manga and anime-related collectibles.
