Patzcuaro's has been in the neighborhood for generations and offers great Mexican food. Allison's favorite is the Enchilades verdes plate with homemade green chile. There's an awesome patio in the back when there's nice weather. We're friends with the owner Cisco - say hello from Jason and Allison!

Park Burger is only a couple of blocks away and has great burgers, fries and shakes. We always get "The Works," a french fries dish topped with... the works. You can ask for your burger on greens for just a quarter more if you're looking for a healthier version!

Duo is a higher end neighborhood restaurant with great food. Sit at the bar for a more casual meal. Know that Denver is very casual, so feel free to wear jeans anywhere you go. Talk with the wait staff if you have dietary restrictions or are craving something special.

Amazing Mexican food in this small, local restaurant. If you speak Spanish, you're a step ahead. Everything is freshly made and the owner is the hardest working woman we've ever met!

One of the more popular restaurants in the neighborhood. It's housed in a former Olinger ("linger") mortuary. Incidentally, the house you're staying in was built by the Olinger family in 1890. The food here is based off of street food from around the world. Great for sharing plates to get variety. In warmer weather, visit the rooftop deck for great views.

Little Man serves up great flavors. For every cone you buy, they send a bag of rice to a food-starved country. Be prepared for a long line, but there's usually entertainment and friendly people visiting from all over.

Avanti is basically an incubator for restaurants that are in between a food truck and full restaurant status; a high end food court. Great food, great views and a bar that serves all sorts of drinks and is an outpost for Dogfish head brewery. Perfect when you can't agree on what to eat!

Ashland Rec Center is really close by and offers a basic gym with weightlifting equipment and two pools - a kids' pool with slide and a lap pool. It's a great deal and an awesome place for a workout or a place to splash around

Getting Around
There's a bus stop right on the south side of 32nd Avenue. The 32 bus stops there roughly every 10 minutes during the week and a little less frequently during the weekend. It will take you downtown and all the way out to the zoo. For more routes and schedules go to the rtd website at www.rtd-denver
