Watch for the line to die down from the comfort of the front porch before heading across the street for a great meal. Closed Tuesdays.

Great Mexican food in a lively punk rock atmosphere. The restaurant equivalent to a great dive bar. The jerk chicken nachos with pineapple salsa are great. Ask for the green salsa.

Grab the elevator labeled Hot Tin on your left, just inside the main doors of the Pontchartrain Hotel (don't worry, no need to be a guest). There's also a great group photo op on the first floor in the waiting area of the hotel restaurant, Jack Rose. Walk down the hall across from the elevators (you'll know it when you see it).
