The food is healthy and delicious. I thought there was no way I could finish the huevos rancheros and ate the entire thing, practically licking the plate! Everything we've ordered there has been good and they have a cute patio.

Our kids went to the same preschool as the owners. Super nice people and delicious, healthy coffee drinks and snacks. Great vibe. They do a lot of film/tv shoots here after hours.

Most delicious home made ice cream ever!!! Interesting flavors change daily but the brown bread is a classic always worth trying. The people are super nice! Been going there since my oldest was like 2 and they always remember us!

Cochinita Pibil burritos are THE BOMB!!! Grab a soda or beer from the market next door and eat in the parking lot. The family has been doing this forever! Grandma often has beautifully manicured nails.

Refurbished to its original glory Highland Park Bowl originated during the midst of prohibition, and the building housed numerous doctors’ offices on the second floor, a pharmacy, music store, and recreation space. After peeling away years of layers, 1933 Group exposed the original façade and interior, refurbished the lanes, and discovered a treasure trove of items, which were refurbished, repurposed, and put on display.
Great spot to hang out for food and cocktails with friends it even has a brick oven . The bowling is fun, they have couches to relax on by the lanes and the vibe is festive. The music is great. You can't bring your kids after a certain hour (adults-only) & reserving your lane is a good idea, it can get crowded. Over all a visual feast and a great spot to discover old LA.
