These woods are lovely , path walks and cycle paths too , with a playground and cafe at Forge Damn. Walking from Endcliffe Park you can follow the path as far into the Mayfield Valley as you fancy. Millhouses animal sanctuary ap[preciates dog walkers.

The Holly Hagg is a wonderful Permaculture project. They run volunteer days on a Wednesday or Saturday helping out with the Alpaccas, weeding,planting,harvesting or creating something new and useful for the project. They have regular open days.
