Just an hours drive from Onset, Newport is a fun day trip. Highly recommend Cliff walk (go to Breakers Mansion) and head South along Cliff Walk. Visit the Breakers Mansion. Stop off at Pour Judgement pub for a great meal that is not pricey or touristy.
