One of Östermalm's better little secrets, the Kontoret is a small bar tucked away between Karlavagen and Vahallavagen. Having said small, it is suprisingly capacious inside with a mezzanine above and a cellar bar leading down from the main bar. There's a good selection behind the bar and the food is always reliably good. Its a great mix between a local bar and a good friendly restaurant. The staff are friendly, as are the prices and there is always a good atmosphere. Lunchtimes can get busy but its always a welcome stop on the way home from Fältöversten. If you're looking for somewhere friendly with a good local atmosphere and good food you can't really go wrong here.

Amazing bread and the cinnamon buns are to die for! Mornings there may be quite a line but well worth the wait. Staff is extremely friendly.

This is a classic in Stockholm. They sell wonderful cakes and pastries and they have a lovely breakfast. The cafe has less than 10 tables inside and about the same on the street. It's very popular among the locals so you might have to wait to get a table. It's located in a posh part of Stockholm in a residential area, so the clientele is classy. Highly recommend a visit.

Nice atmosphere and one of the best coffes in town. This where the Gossip Girls of Stockholm hang out. Do not be surprised if you find a dog inside. The pastas very good for tis pricelevel. Cookies - yummy.

Please don't miss this one - Ostermalm Saluhall. Goes back long in time and provides much history and a fabulous atmosphere. Either you just blend in and take part of all the activities and enjoy. Or you take the opportunity to buy first class food, fish, meat, groceries etc. All served by experts behind the counter - all ready to serve you the best. Alternatively you have some thing to eat and just slow down a bit. It's very easy to find Ostermalm Saluhall and there is much information about it too.
