The most popular Caribbean food on Electric Avenue is always mobbed. The sound system blares out reggae while regulars pile in for the best lamb patties in Brixton, jerk chicken, and Jamaican sweet breads.

Famous market that sells all sorts from clothes to fresh fish., and the covered archways off the street house Brixton Village which is full of pup restaurants and bars. The shopping is at its most lively on Saturday mornings, but the food and drink scene kicks off after work every night except Mondays.
