I love to take walks outside of my neighborhood. This morning I walked around and through the Municipal Rose Garden. It is a feast for the eyes and I will probably do it weekly all through the Spring and Summer.

The museum is near the Rose Garden, so you can combine a visit to the Rose Garden and the museum in one day. The museum ground is nicely kept and scenic. Many take their prom and wedding pictures there. The museum is kind of small but it has many artifacts from Egypt. It takes about 2-3 hours to walk through and learn about ancient Egypt.
