Cilgwyn is actually in the Parish of Nevern. This small village has an amazing church (St Brynachs), with a celtic cross and a bleeding yew tree that its claimed was grown from a piece of wood from the cross.

Carningli mountain rises above Newport and is known as the jewel in the crown of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The Attic is located on Mill lane a sweet little lane that runs from the centre of Newport up the mountain. Here there is an abundance of wildlife, livestock in an historical conservation area that is unique with easy access to the many paths and tracks that cross cross the area.
