A local attraction for 107 years the Calgary Stampede has a little something for everyone. Agricultural displays and events, such as horse racing, chuck wagons racing, Miniature Donkey Showcase and many more can be found at the grounds in the agricultural centre. If animals are not your thing let the midway entice you with over 22 rides for every age and adrenaline level. Be sure to try whatever wacky midway food is on showcase at the grounds.

Riley Park is perfect for the nature get away in the city. It's an easy day trip and a short train ride from Banff Trail Station to Sunny Side Station. Take a walk through the gardens and catch a game of cricket. A great place for families all around as there is a free wading pool, playground and lots of room to run. This is a great place for a family picnic and our families personal favourite.

800 12 St NWRiley Park is perfect for the nature get away in the city. It's an easy day trip and a short train ride from Banff Trail Station to Sunny Side Station. Take a walk through the gardens and catch a game of cricket. A great place for families all around as there is a free wading pool, playground and lots of room to run. This is a great place for a family picnic and our families personal favourite.

Wheat Pizza by Jay is some of the best traditional pizza in our neighbourhood. They have a selections of fresh salads with home made dressings that are mouth watering and delicious. Wheat is located behind the School and is a very short walk for pick up.

Edelweiss is a treat for young and old, a great get away for lunch. They have everything from deli sandwiches to soft pretzels, pirogies and schnitzel. There is fresh bread, imported candy and loads of European souvenirs. Edelweiss is within 3 blocks of the house and is worth a trip even to look around and see the coo coo clocks.
