I grew on Roosevelt Island, so I encourage all visitors to take the trip. It is a hidden oasis of the city, and the Tram offers stunning views. When you are there, you can visit the beautiful Four Freedoms Park on the southern end, or the quaint Lighthouse Park at the northern tip.

The Roosevelt Island Tramway
254 E 60th StI grew on Roosevelt Island, so I encourage all visitors to take the trip. It is a hidden oasis of the city, and the Tram offers stunning views. When you are there, you can visit the beautiful Four Freedoms Park on the southern end, or the quaint Lighthouse Park at the northern tip.
Historic and cutting-edge theater. Always find out what’s playing here, or go to an evening concert at Joe’s Pub next door. The Public Theater is the home to the original productions of Hair, A Chorus Line, Angels in America, and Hamilton. It’s a beautiful building with several stages and a lovely bar/library upstairs.
