Awesome artisan bakery with a nice variety of organic & tasty products. Also serving good coffee. Please note that usually the freshly baked pastry and breads sell out fast! :)

Until the end of August the bridge is closed for construction, essentially rendered as a long park. It is very busy after working hours when people just sit out to talk and drink. Don't miss it!

Great Market Hall - the largest and oldest indoor market in Budapest. High quality products, but more one the expensive side - especially the more touristy stalls selling foie gras, paprika and Tokaji. Good butchers, some of the best steak meat in Budapest.
Upper floor has some cafés and restaurants as well.

Upper floor has some cafés and restaurants as well.
Drinks & Nightlife
Your go-to cheap ruin pub / club. Big building with multiple stages playing different style of music and quieter corners as well. Free entry most of the time.
Drinks are not particularly cheap or good, so pre-gaming is recommended. :)

One of the most unique bars in Europe, it's definitely a site to be checked out! The original ruin pub, not the most cheap though. Locals hardly attend anymore, but there's a party almost any night of the week!

Király Spa is 2 mins walk from the apartment, one of the smaller ones (not crowded!) but still very nice for some relaxation from a long trip. 4 separate pools with thermal bath.
Tickets are 2.700Ft / 2.100Ft for students (morning ticket available on weekdays: you get 1.100HUF back from the ticket price if you leave before noon!).
Open: 9-21.
