- The Living Room is a viewpoint that overlooks downtown Salt Lake City. Someone has taken flat rocks and built Flintstone-style furniture so that you can relax and enjoy the view of the city. The trail starts near Red Butte Gardens. - The trail is steep and rocky. It climbs over 1000 feet in less than a mile and a half (1.35 miles to the Living Room, or 2.7 miles round trip).

The trail starts near Red Butte Gardens. - The trail is steep and rocky. It climbs over 1000 feet in less than a mile and a half (1.35 miles to the Living Room, or 2.7 miles round trip).
- The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square (formally known as the Mormon Tabernacle Choir) is a world-renowned choir, one of the most famous in the world. - Every Sunday you can attend Music and the Spoken Word. Admission is free but is limited to those eight years of age and older. Doors open to the public at 8:30 a.m., and guests should be seated by 9:15 a.m., when the doors are closed. The broadcast is 30 minutes in length and ends at 10:00 a.m.

We love to go to City Creek to shop, eat, and just wander around because it is SO NICE. They have all kinds of serene indoor and outdoor water features and landscaping and the overall architecture of City Creek itself makes it a worthwhile visit!

Download the app “Temple Square Planning Guide” to get the most out of your experience. - You can explore the beautifully landscaped grounds and go to the Visitor’s Center where you can learn more about how the temple was constructed and how it contributes to Utah’s heritage. - If you’re staying with us during the holidays, Temple Square has Christmas lights up from the day after Thanksgiving to the last day of December.

We LOVE Spitz! It is Mediterranean street food. It's in a fun, downtown location, has an upbeat atmosphere and the food is to die for. We recommend the street cart fries and any of the doners.

This restaurant is on the fancy (aka more expensive) side, but the experience of dining there is worth it! It is on the top floor of the Jospeh Smith Memorial Building and boasts beautiful city views while you dine. It is buffet style dining. It was here where I discovered my all time favorite dessert - chocolate decadence!

It is on the top floor of the Jospeh Smith Memorial Building and boasts beautiful city views while you dine. It is buffet style dining. It was here where I discovered my all time favorite dessert - chocolate decadence!
Crown Burger is a local favorite! It is conveniently located right downtown. If you're looking for a classic burger and fries, go here!
