Food scene

In the Golden Zone and near by! The restaurants are favorite of the host, locals and many of his guests who visit Mazatlan. Some restaurants are more traditional in their offerings, while others offer more divers plates.
Again, in the Golden Zone and near by! Great Coffee, pastries and breakfasts! This place offers modern take on coffee shops fused with delicious breakfasts, including Mexican dishes, pastries, and probably my favorite Belgian waffles as theirs is uniquely crusty on the outside and soft inside. If you like chocolate, of all the brownies, theirs is the best!

You'll be treated to trays of pastries coming to you to choose from. The kids will also have a large variety to choose from! It can get busy and a bit noisy, but don't miss it.

Pulmonias: Fun open-air taxis

All over Mazatlan, these unique open-air taxis called Pulmonias meander driving around with tourists and locals alike. They are fun to ride in and very accessible. Hardly a minute goes by before there is one to pick you up. Then the fun starts because you have a golf cart view of the sites, the people, and the beautiful beach as you take a nice ride along the boardwalk (malecon). You can, of course, you can still take a regular taxi or a bus which is quiet inexpensive.
Que faut-il apporter ?

Bring comfortable clothing--Mazatlan is fun and informal.

Come with comfortable clothing such as shorts, thongs, tennis shoes, casual shirts, t-shirts etc. One pair of street shoes will be more than enough, assuming you use it all. Do bring with you your favorite sun block. But, do not worry if you forget it, as there are plenty of stores, pharmacies, and doctors at the pharmacies who charge very little to get basic check up of an issue.

Golf and don't miss Mexican baseball!

Whatever you do, if it's Baseball season, you definitely won't want to miss going to a game. It does not matter if you know nothing about baseball. You don't even need to keep score--this is baseball in Mazatlan and it's a blast to watch as there is plenty of entertainment such as humorous images of the spectators being teased are displayed on the big screen for all to laugh. Golf: There are golf courses in Mazatlan in or near the Golden Zone, such as El Cid golf course.
