Fort Pulaski National Monument
101 US-80If you go on a hunt for Forrest Gump's bench you might be disappointed. The bench scenes were filmed in Chippewa Square but the bench was a prop placed in the street. Rumor has it that there were only 4 benches made for the movie and one now resides less than a mile from Chippewa Square in the Savannah History Museum. Henry Street, where Jenny's apartment was is a real street but I don't think the house number is real. Careful Henry Street is a one way street along with it's partner Anderson Street.
