Sports force park also hosts the college mixed baseball team The Sandusky Bay Ice haulers. tickets are less than $10 for most games. It's a fun minor league feel and only 6 miles from our house.

Food scene
Hard to say enough about how wonderful Chez is. This is a high end establishment with a dress code. Easily the best food and dining experience anywhere on Lake Erie. Reservations are a must. Great for a date night or adult time. $$$$ not an inexpensive evening however.

A very fun day trip, take the Jet Express right from downtown Sandusky, or Miller Ferry from Catawba Island. Rent a golf cart to get around the Island. Fun for all ages.

Really interesting collection of historic aircraft at Port Clinton Airport. A fun rainy-day activity for the family. There is also a fun diner at the field to have lunch at while visiting the museum.

Wonderful walk out the pier. Sit on a bench and watch the boat traffic in and out of the river. Fish off the pier. Walk out at least 1x, it's very enjoyable.

Quarry Hill is an Orchard and winery. Fun for a family or group outing. Pick your own apples in season or relax on the verandah of the winery for a few drinks. Some of our neighbors are the owners. Great people and a very good time.
