Yemek ortamı

This is a must see tourist spot. It combines fresh fish sellers(in the middle) and the fish restaurants ( around the sellers) all in one place. It is generally a little bit more pricy than the other fish restaurants in the city but there is also an option to buy your own fish from a seller and make a restaurant cook it for you which makes it cheaper. Of course no need to say but the resturant will be waiting you to dring or order at least a salad from its menu. It is open all year round and everyday of the week but the rush hours are always dinners. If you want to have a quite meal, choose to go for lunch or an early supper. Otherwise you will be observing turkish style of fish&rakı nights with money demanding turkish music street musicians.

You are in Turkey, well let's say it correct; Turkiye. So you would like to enjoy tastes of turkish cousine and kebap as the most popular of it. Won't you?? If you are not a vegetarian or a vegan, you should eat at least one meal here at Paşa Kebap. It is also one of my favorite places to eat. Don't forget, it is always busy and you may need to wait for a table for dinner espeacilly at summer season.

Although the exact construction date is not known exactly, it is known that this Medieval fortress, which is thought to have been repaired by the Knights of Rhodes in the 15th century, was used as a settlement area after the Crusades. But why I suggest this place is that it has a magnificient view espeacially during the sunset.

Dalyan is 1,5 hours away from Fethiye city center. It is easy to reach there both with public transportation or even with a scooter. Dalyan offers you everything; beach&sunbathing(İztuzu Beach), history(Kaunos, the ancient Lycian city), nature(a boat trip within the snake shape paths of Dalyan River reaching to the beach). It is a very small, cute town and worth giving a daily visit.

Ölüdeniz is the paradise on Earth. The lagoon and the public beach are both crystal clear and you immediately feel the velvet kinda feeling of the Mediterranean surrounding your body while swimming. Along the seashore lay restaurants, cafes and bars. It is always a little bit more expensive than Fethiye city center but for a cold beer while watching the sunset and the paragliders above your head, it worths!

Se déplacer dans les environs

Best way to see around is to hire a bike, a scooter or a car

I can't understand why but public transportation is expensive in Fethiye. On the other side, places to go and visit are not very far away. Average is around 1 hour if you are not planning to make a one day Pamukkale trip. Because of that I would suggest you to rent a bike around the city(we have a propar cycling road from Fethiye city centre to Calis Beach) and a scooter or a car for trips around Fethiye. Even Kaş is only 2,5 hours from Fethiye which you can visit by a daily car rental.
Que faut-il apporter ?

Don't forget to bring with you!!!

Fethiye has lots of routes that you may want to hike. It is also a summer location which means there are lots of beaches around. The temparature will be over 35degress during summer months and around 28-30degrees at October and mid November. This means confy walking shoes, sandals for the beach, light clothes, a hat, a strong sunscreen and even a stronger after sun lotion are essential.
