This pizza place serves Neapolitan style pizza - Cozy atmosphere, tasty pizza and salads. Off the beaten path. They offer outdoor seating during summer. Inside it can get loud because of the tight quarters but I find it romantic and inviting.

Cactus is across the street from Alki Beach. During warm weather they have outdoor seating and open the large windows in the bar. Shrimp tacos are one of my favorites. Vast selection of tequila - this is the place to get your margarita. Usually a lively scene in the bar around dinner time and on weekends. cactusrestaurants.com

Located next to the West Seattle ferry dock. I like the pork sliders or the tacos. They have this sauce - nunya - you can buy a jar to take home. Authentic shave ice for dessert. Outdoor seating too.

Duke's is an institution, but unlike some places that have been around forever, they keep making adjustments to keep up the quality and image. Good seafood and a solid menu. Outdoor seating and near Alki Beach. This is a safe bet for a good/casual meal.

If you love dumplings this is the place. Be prepared to wait and shop around while you do. University Village has lots of good shops and if you're not stuffed you can grab an ice cream at Molly Moon's after.
