Way more than a dog park. Beautiful views of the city and Mt. Hood. Hiking trails and walkways for every level of hiker from toddler to trekker. If you walk straight north on 67th you will end up at Warner Pacific college which backs up to a lovely trail through the dog park and up the mountain.

The food is also pretty good if your not on a budget. Also, my great grandfather was a master carpenter and he built the staircases at Timberline Lodge.

Hiking trails close to Cannon Beach.
Roses and views of the city. Ride the Train to the Oregon Zoo, Forestry Center and Children's Museum. Visit the Japanese Garden too all from one parking lot.

Forest Park
On a clear day you can see many of the mountains that surround us. At the top of the summit trail there’s a viewpoint that names each mountain. Also, I always seem to see Kestrels when I hike here.
