This is the halfway point along the Greenway (46kms total) between Waterford City and Dungarvan. It's a nice spot to hire bikes or grab a snack.
The 23 kms to Dungarvan is a good enough length ride without being overly strenuous and by far the best scenery. Relax in Dungarvan over lunch before heading back.

Beautiful spot just over the ferry in County Wexford and so dramatic on a windy day. The tour of the lighthouse is interesting or just sit and soak up the view.

if you're here between April to end July/mid August and love the sea and outdoors take the Saltee ferry over from Kilmore Quay in Wexford. The Atlantic puffin nests here. It's a rugged terrain so bring good shoes and a picnic.

Run by the local amish community on the Dunmore Road near the turn off for Woodstown. This is the nearest garage to the house. They also have a few basic food items and bake cakes and breads on site which are all good. Our favourite is the carrot cake.

About 20 minutes along the coast and I'm told it's a good course.
The hotel alone is worth a visit, stop here on your way back from Kilkenny for some bar food or a fancy dinner.
