My personal preferred spot to meet up with my friends that live in the hood, or just stop by to have a beer after work. They have a limited menu with panini's and soup, but it's hearty and good. Just a nice chill neighborhood spot with expansive windows, a killer jukebox, and a few tv's. Nice patio out back, partially covered, with a bocce ball court and a concrete ping-pong table.

Do you know what a growler is? It's a big jug to put beer in and take home, so no bottles, or bottle deposit, to deal with. I've got a number of growlers at home to choose from, just snag the size you want and make a run! Rotating taps for every taste.

Occidental also now has a German-centric restaurant attached to the brewery with an elevated patio. Great sausages and other plates.

Yes, it's a nursery, but it has such a great selection of succulents, pots, and other plants it will provide you with inspiration and advice. Plus it's on N. Mississippi which has so many other options for shopping, eating and drinking. Recommend.
