This place is a hidden gem! Such a great place for lunch. Not sure if they are open for dinner. Quirky design and such simple fresh asian fare. Must try. Off the beaten path. A local treat.

Susan Spicer!! This place was a hit when it first opened in the 90s and there is a reason its still remains on of the TOP places to visit by locals and tourists. Its $$$ but it's well worth the experience.

I just discovered this place. AMAZING. So beautiful. Really lovely courtyard. Go for coffee, or drinks and snacks.

Our friend is one of the chefs and this place is to die for. Great french brassarie with a Japanese twist. Sit inside at the bar or enjoy the night sky with friend in the courtyard. So cute. Perfect for a date night. Fresh and simple food.

I love this spot for lunch, with the ladies or dinner for two. It's a local fav not too fancy. Sit at the bar and enjoy happy hour and friendly bar staff making great drinks or reserve a table on the outdoor balcony upstairs. It's great. Never disappointed.

Better atmosphere than the famed Acme. Same oysters from the same distributor but with more classic diner feel. I love it and have spent several visits at the bar with a few dozen and beers.

Another favorite local cheap dive bar. I have never eaten the food but I can vouch for a stiff drink and a nice spot on the half-moon shaped bar. Old school classic watering hole.

Beautiful historic and where the Sazerac came to be. The murals on the walls are incredible and to walk around the Roosevelt hotel is nice. Just outside of the FQ worth it.

If you need the laundromat this is our local. A short walk maybe 10 minutes down Laharpe across Gentilly Blvd, on Grand Route St John. Its a beautiful walk too :) Plus they do drop off wash and fold service.
