As a couple we frequent this bar for dates and enjoy the life and friendly environment. Very enjoyable staff and of course many of our neighbors enjoying one another and some refreshing drinks. It's not wild or dirty in any way but instead friendly, clean, and very restful.

We frequently enjoy going as a family to this lake. It's beautiful and peaceful. We recommend parking near the entrance on the left and going walking to the left to "The Castle" where the views both of the City of Merced and Lake Yosemite are best, especially as the sun sets!

Sightseeing
Yosemite National Park is by far the most amazing sight to be seen within just over an hour drive of our place. You can also ride the Yarts bus up and back to not have to drive. Enjoy! We recommend the Mist Trail and Glacier Point Vista for sure - you can drive right up to where you only have a short walk to see amazing sights!
