Simply astonishing - at many levels. Leaving the history behind, today's Grantley Hall is the perhaps the triumph of money over logic. Can you spend enough money on a place to make it a 'must go to' destination? It has some very good reviews. If you want some pampering, it could be worth a trip one day. But probably doesn't quite fit with a quiet stay at FlashysRetreat.

A fun and unusual places to visit. We used to come here occasionally with my grandmother. It's an extravagant folly, of no archeological relevance, but curious.
