10-15 min away from the house. Beautiful, serene, and super peaceful lake. Fishing, hiking /walking, bring your own kayak. No restroom facilities here as it’s off the beaten path and a hidden gem. These are our real family photos. FYI It is located in state game lands, so as a precaution we avoid coming here during hunting season.

It’s a great little private Celtic park about 35 min away with neat rock formations, walking and hiking trails. Recommended donation to enter. It's close to a cute town where you can make a day of it and grab a bite to eat too.

Best pizza around in our opinion! 10 min down the road on route 940, but they unfortunate do not deliver. It is in a shopping center with a lot of country stores, which I recommend you check out as well.
