Really cool, small downtown area! Much smaller than Dallas or Ft Worth, with all of the same stuff you might be looking for: Restaurants (we recommend Urban Crust - ask to sit on the rooftop!), bars (we recommend Vickory Park), shopping, a huge park/playground for the kids, live music on the weekends, and a good place to walk around!

Great place to do for Events - July 4th, Halloween, Oktoberfest, and lots of other events throughout the year. Shopping, a play theater, restaurants and the Cavanaugh Flight Museum. Plus there is a ton to do throughout the city of Addison (really great restaurants)!

Lake Ray Hubbard is just 25-min from our home! There you can visit restaurants, shops and a movie theater all long the lakeside. It connects the cities of Garland, Rowlett and Rockwall and each side of the lake has its own stuff to do.
We also own a Pontoon Boat located at Captain's Bay Marina on the closest side of the lake! If you would be interested in renting a boat for 4-8 hours during your stay, just go to: boatsetter.com/boats/lzbtzbz
