Some of the most authentic Mexican food found in Portland! Just walk through the market in the front straight back to the restaurant.
Food is so good and prices so reasonable that the service can look tired... because they are... tip well my friend!

McMenamins are a Portland institution. Great atmosphere ... You can take your food and beer in to watch a movie or outside to the fire pit.
First run movies are in the small and historic theater with was just recently renovated with great picture, sound, and seats.
You can bring in your drinks and they will catch up with you and bring your food to your seat.
TIP: reserve your seat online or show up early to pick your seat. Shows can and do sell out at times.

5907 N Lombard StAuthentic Thai food! A hidden gem that we still drive by and miss once in awhile even when we are looking for it. The food is super tasty. We are happily working our way through this menu and every time it is a new favorite!

Fantastic hidden gem that serves the best seafood in the NoPo area. They're fish is extremely fresh and the menu is seasonal and locally sourced. The clam chowder is yummy too! Charming and warm, the staff welcomes you promptly and are helpful and friendly. The prices are a bit pricey, but if you're looking for quality ingredients and excellent seafood this is the place to dine!

Leisure is a great spot that is still within walking distance. Always a good crowd. Nice outdoor seating with a Bocce court in the back corner. They also have a live trivia night. $3 Pints for happy hour if you get there before 6!

Award winning Brewery with amazing offerings. We recommend getting a flight to find your favorite! Tip: Wednesdays a Growler fill is only $8 ... there is a growler for your use in the apartment ; )

So happy to have found this place! Very welcoming and well laid out. It just feels like a great space and promotes the phrase "one more please."
We found it when getting Drunken Noodle next door (which ironically serves no alcohol) We popped in to split a beer. The lovely and friendly bartender told us that Drunken Noodle would bring the food over for us if we asked them to. We asked them to. They did. Woohoo!
