AWESOME chicken tenders and the BEST Reuben sandwich we've ever had. And they deliver. Not much of a sit down place, but to grab-and-go or for catering, they cannot be beat. Large, mostly Italian, menu, but their cheeseburger sliders are the bomb and can be ordered in bulk!

American farm-to-table restaurant across the river in Lovettsville, VA. Their menu changes with the seasons and they like to put interesting twists on standard fare, like deviled eggs and mac & cheese. They also offer Vegan and Gluten-free menu items. Great place to go after a tour of one of the many local wineries. A little pricey for the inexpensive decor, but the food is worth it.

Parks & Nature

This is a great hike that starts from Harpers Ferry Rd along the Potomac River on the Maryland side. It's a 2-1/2 mile hike each way and is well worth the trip. It's best suited for active adults and children. This is not a "walk in the park" kind of hike. You can make the hike longer by adding in the loop to see the Old Stone Fort, ruins from the Civil War.

The entire town has been designated as a National Park. The Appalachian Trail runs through the middle of town and across the Potomac River alongside the railway bridge. This is where the confluence of the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers converge into one massive Potomac River. There are GORGEOUS views here!! Visit Jefferson Rock where Thomas Jefferson stood and declared it to be one of the most beautiful places on earth. Lots of food choices here, biking, tubing, visitors center, museum.
