You may also wish to go to the state park there that has fishing. There’s also fishing in Northbeach. Northbeach has restaurants, a town and wonderful ice cream.

Good shopping. Walk over to the Gaylord or MGM Casino. Walk over the bridge to Alexandria. It’s a long walk but great workout.
