Head six blocks south on Comal street to access the running trail around Lady Bird Lake. The trail is a 10 mile loop and good for all skill levels. The trail is an amazing place for stroller walks, runs, or bike rides. If you take the trail west it will lead you straight to Rainey Street or the heart of downtown Austin with some amazing river views along the way!*

A beautiful state park, McKinney Falls, is only a 20 minute drive from the house. This is a great spot to hike with a variety of trail options for all skill levels and two sets of beautiful falls (Upper and Lower).

A 10 minute walk from the house and right by Lady Bird Lake. The playground has swings, slides, and climbing equipment. You can easily stop here on the way to the trail to take a walk around Lady Bird Lake. We use this park quite a bit and find it to be one of the nicest ones in the neighborhood.*
