Sunny’s is one of the best kept secrets of Brooklyn. Rooted in deep history as an old fisherman’s watering hole over the century and it keeps true to its roots. Often has live music with band from bluegrass, strings, local talent, brass, to even ex members from famous bands through the ages just looking for a low-key moment to play for folks. It’s by far my favorite bar in NYC. Cash only

Time out magazine recently rated this as one of the top bars in NYC. They make some delicious Mexican food, great margaritas, and have cheap drinks. Plus it’s a local favorite. A short walk from the loft.
