This is an incredible spring fed pool managed by the city in Tarrytown. When it's warm outside, Deep Eddy is one of the best spots to cool off. There's also a great burger bar within walking distance of the parking lot called Pool Burger.

You're probably familiar with Barton Springs, but in case you're not, it's Austin's most famous swimming spot. Known for being sourced by a natural spring, the water stays in the ballpark of 68-70 degrees all year round.

Food scene
There's a lot of good food in Austin, but Veracruz stands out. This location is a food truck at Radio Coffee which has great outdoor seating and tons of great drinks. Would highly recommend three specific tacos from Veracruz: Migas (breakfast), El Sancho (breakfast), and their barbacoa (breakfast/lunch). Their quesadillas are also really good.

Zilker is one of the most iconic places in Austin, especially when it comes to the city's park scene. With the exception of Austin City Limits, the park is open to the public and visitors can expect to find lots of dogs playing, games of sand volleyball, and lots of people exercising outdoors.
