The place is located about 15 kilometers east of Ierapetra on the Libyan Sea coast of East Crete.The beach is named after the nearby church of Agia Fotini. Ierapetra can be reached by bus or car. There are buses from Heraklion and Agios Nikolaos to Ierapetra. It has fine gray pebbles and calm crystal clear waters and is very well organized with taverns and beach bars.
