Parks and Trails
Boch Hollow and Robinson Falls are unique features of the Hocking Hills region of Ohio—a convoluted collection of beautiful sandstone, gorges, alcoves, and waterfalls representative of Ohio’s Allegheny Plateau. The waterfall itself, a horsetail plume approximately 12 to 15 feet tall, flows with seasonal fortitude over a precipice into a narrow gorge—complete with deep emerald plunge pools and moss covered walls, the gorgeous scenery is reminiscent of the Pacific Northwest. The most significant natural feature in the preserve is Robinson Falls, a rare example in Ohio of a canyon falls. An access permit is required from the Division of Natural Areas and Preserves to view the falls.
