Our favorite restaurant on the East side of Houston, hard to get in without a reservation but totally worth the wait. The Nancy's cakes, lamb tartar, gnocchi and dumplings are the best.

This is a very unique place, the best description of this place would be adult playground bar. Atmosphere is cool with old truck parts and furniture as the seating areas. Drinks are a plenty with an indoor and outdoor bar that includes drink specials. Kitchen serves cheesesteaks and nachos. Food trucks are also here for more food options. And they'll have live music here sometimes.

Ride sharing!
Personally, ride sharing is the best way to get around Houston, if you don't want to pay big bucks on a rental car. Our home is centrally located so as long as our aren't planning on taking any long trips we recommend using ride sharing apps. Houston is a definitely a driving city, although we have public transportation they aren't as accessible as other cities.
