A beautiful place 15 minutes away to walk and see some incredible views. In the summer we would suggest renting a bicycle to go around the loop. Lunch at the Pickled Wrinkle afterwards is delicious, or The Gallery which is open in the Summer and Fall months.

The azalea gardens are a beautiful place to spend an afternoon looking at the landscape and gardens. About 45 minutes away from us in Northeast Harbor.

A beautiful scenic town with great food and gift shops! I would recommend Havanna as a very good restaurant. Also Reel Pizza if you want a rainy day cinema.

This is where I would recommend going for wine, cheese, baguette, meats, coffee, etc. A beautiful family run shop that provides a lovely selection of things and has a beautiful home shop as well.

A wonderful restaurant that has a strong focus on organic, seasonal and local foods with excellent meals. About a 30 minute drive from us but worth it! They also have a little bar where they brew their own beer that does lunch.

Great food and super cute bar! A 45 minute drive from us but if you make it a night out in Bar Harbor it's a wonderful way to the day. Barack and Michelle Obama ate here when they were in Maine and the mojitos are the best I've ever had!

A perfect bar with organic, brewed right there beer. They also do excellent pizzas for a casual night in good company. About 15 minutes away from us.
