While our name and ownership changed in 2014, this facility has been in operation for 30 years. We continue to offer the same excellence and quality in all our products that you have come to expect.

Of course we have bait! We are located on the southern tip of Gull Lake. We carry a selection of live and frozen bait. Live maggots and worms are a staple, as are frozen minnows, anchovies, and smelts. Seasonally, we will carry herring and leeches. Call ahead for availability.
We also carry a great selection of hooks and other fishing gear. Len Thompson and ProStrike are the two top names we carry. In winter we carry handmade lures made by Albertan fishermen who know what fish like (no guarantees, sorry!). Tip ups, ice fishing rods, scoops and line are all available.

Medicine Lodge Ski Hill is a volunteer, not-for-profit organization, run by volunteers who love to ski and enjoy the great outdoors. The hill offers 11 runs for various skill levels, a t-bar and a beginners lift. The Ski Hill is located in the picturesque hills of Lacombe County near Bentley, Alberta
There are always Ski Patrol on staff who have been trained by The National Ski Patrol Association. Rentals are available in the Rental Shop. Small concession in lodge.
Bring cash for lift tickets or concession.

Several area streams including Birch Bay Creek and Wilson Creek flow into Gull Lake. Its waters drain through a creek into the Blindman River and then in the Red Deer River.
The summer village of Gull Lake is developed on the southern shore, adjacent to Aspen Beach Provincial Park, along Highway 12. Several campgrounds are located around the shores of the lake including Aspen Beach Brewers and Lakeview Provincial Park, Raymond Shores, and Degraffs Resort. Sylvan Lake is located 20 km (12 mi) south from Gull Lake. Gull Lake is a large, shallow lake located west of the City of Lacombe in the counties of Ponoka and Lacombe. Because it is situated between the cities of Edmonton and Calgary, Gull Lake is accessible to large numbers of people. Its clear water and sandy beaches contribute to its popularity, and the lake is heavily used on warm, sunny weekends. To reach the lake, take Highway 2 from Edmonton or Calgary to Lacombe, then turn west on Highway 12 and drive for 14 km to the summer village of Gull Lake (Fig. 1).
