Jake's is run by a Clarkson Business professor. The menu changes over frequently with amazing new dishes and the chef uses local, fresh sourced ingredients. The bar and the patio are right on the water in Hannawa Falls. Jake's also has a fantastic Brunch on Sundays.

Great coffee from Potsdam based Park Brothers. Also, excellent New York Bagels. They feature many of their own Bagel sandwiches. It is a nice place to hang out and have coffee, do work, or meet up with friends.

Titus Mountain is a fun place to ski for the whole family. We love to ski there and often buy a season pass. You will find the rates reasonable and the drive not too bad.

Fobares is a local treasure. During the Fall you can head up their for their famous cider donuts, the corn maze, hay rides, and they have a permanent playground for children. They also have a nice store with local products and apples!

A colonial town famous for winning a battle in the 1812 war. You can visit the tourist center to learn about the town's history and then walk around to visit shops, restaurants, or the Sacket's Harbor Brewery.

Highley Flow State Park has beautiful hiking trails that follow the Raquette River. During the winter, you can also use their cross-country ski and snow shoe trails. And, in the summer, this state park has a lovely beach.
