The lakes are just down the street from the apartment. The area along the lakes is great for a sunset walk or a run. This is where Copenhageners have a lot of first dates, go for a coffee walk with friends or walk their dog.

Probably the most iconic and touristy place in Copenhagen. No matter what, I can never get enough of this view. It’s simply wonderful!

The state art gallery is right around the corner. If you are an art lover, it’s worth checking out. They have a nice little shop and cafeteria, as well as “winter garden” with sculptures.
