Sir Allen MacNab also owned the building that you are staying in! 357 MacNab was used as a stable house for Dundurn Castle. Take a tour inside the castle or simply walk around the grounds and enjoy its beauty.

Griffin House was purchased by Enerels Griffin in 1834. Enerels and his wife were enslaved in their early lives, but escaped to Canada in the early 1800’s. This site is an important part of Black History in Canada.

This was the home to the prominent Gage family and the site of the 1813 battle of Stoney Creek. The 100 foot tall battlefield monument is a site to see and representative of peace to commemorate the soldiers who died in the battle.
