Best views of Portland - on the west side of park see all the way across downtown and from the east side, beautiful views all the way to Mt. Hood on a clear day. Good hiking and a great spot for some walking and exercise.

The best dessert selection in the city by far! They are known for their homemade creations. The location on NW 23rd Avenue is surrounded by blocks of beautiful shops and fun places to check out.

Super yummy donuts. And they're vegan if you're into that. But regardless, they are super yummy! They also have vegan ice cream. I imagine that this is what a donut tasted like 100 years ago before chemicals started to replace real ingredients.

If you make the trip to Multnomah Falls, or any of the other amazing falls near there, make sure you plan a stop at the Sugarpine Drive-In on your way back. You won't be disappointed!

Zell's has always been a favorite of ours and it's been around for a very long time. If you want to hang with the locals for breakfast, this is a great spot. Not hipster or pretentious, just great breakfast and a cozy, homey feel. Like all places in Portland, be prepared to wait for awhile if you go on the weekend.
